We’ve already talked about features being the technical, the specification, etc — the what it is and what it does — and the benefit being why it’s useful or how it helps. So you need to be very effective at making that bridge statement, that connector.
There’s a couple of ways you can do that using bridge statements or bridge words. For example “which means” “so that” which means or so that. For example, this sunscreen has an SPF of 60 which means you can stay in the sun longer without burning. Or you could say “This external hard drive has 5 terabytes of storage space so that you’ll never run out of space for your photos or videos.”
Those are examples of using bridge statements which will then connect a product or service’s feature with a product or service’s benefit.
Practice using these bridge statements and you’re going to be well on your way to closing more deals.
